Squirrel of the Month - October

Ian Dalten

​Congratulations Ian Dalten - NHRR Squirrel of the Month for October 2019

Ian joined the club just over a year ago but soon became an established and well respected member of the club. He goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome and is a truly inclusive runner. His words of encouragement and support have reached all in the club and he continues to befriend all newcomers. 

Actions speak louder than words and no truer a statement can be said of Ian. He has excelled in his performances over the past year and continues to set new PBs in all distances. Ian has enjoyed gentle rivalries with many runners over the years and his enthusiasm reminds many of us about the real reason we started running in the first place. 

He epitomises the ethos and ethics of the club and as such is a worthy recipient of our Squirrel of the Month.
