As a member of North Herts Road Runners you will be eligible for a number of benefits and discounts.
All members will be registration with England Athletics. Registration is compulsory for runners who intend to represent their club in races conducted under UKA rules. These include many of the major and local road races and cross-country events.
Your EA membership will entitle you to reduced race entry. Other benefits of your EA membership can be found on their website and include:
Insurance cover for athletes
As an athlete who has paid subscriptions to a club or organisation affiliated to UKA, such as England Athletics, you are automatically provided with insurance cover which applies while you are involved in “athletics activities.” This not only relates to training and competing, but also club / region administrative meetings as well as when part of a team representing UKA, England Athletics, Scottish Athletics, Athletics Northern Ireland, or Welsh Athletics.
