Congratulations Pete Sibbett - NHRR Squirrel of the Month for November 2019 Pete has been awarded this months winner because he showed true squirrel character during the 3CXC at Wing. Having set out to race hard and put himself in contention for an overall age category win, Pete stopped his race when a fellow club mate got into difficulties. Pete stayed with him until Marshall’s were on the scene and the fellow runner was well supported. Despite having lost several places Pete continued on to finish his race. Pete has been in the club (as a very fast runner I might add) and on the committee for many years, and has had many achievements and made some significant contributions to the club but despite several nominations for this prestigious award has never won it until now. This one it very well deserved.
