Squirrel of the Month - January

John Auld

Congratulations to John Auld - NHRR Squirrel of the Month January 2018.

John is a worthy winner having shown extraordinary commitment to the club  as Cross Country Rep. He led an outstanding campaign resulting in NHRR winning the 2017/18 Three Counties Cross Country League.

Never before has  Braveheart-style  face paint been worn into cross country battle, that coupled with John's enthusiasm in recruiting runners to the cause meant that none dared not to turn up to races. 

Constantly on top of the scoring he was able to recall all points, of all teams at any time making sure everyone knew what they had to do on the day and who they had to beat. He also introduced NHRR travel mugs for the team making it the most environmently friendly XC season ever.
