What is ROTM?
The
ROTM is an annual competition running between 1st Oct & 30th Sept with
Trophies awarded at the Summer Ball to the male & female members who achieve
the highest score, or more simply run in the most designated ROTMs.
How
does the scoring work?
1
point is awarded for participation in each ROTM. Members who help out at
Standalone or other NHRR host races also receive one point per event.
Who
decides ROTMs?
The
Performance & Participation sub committee (2x Team Captains, Club Coach, Mid
Week League Rep, X Country reps) choose one or two races each month to include
in our ROTM calendar. We are hoping to run some forum votes to decide 2011
ROTMs.
What
are the aims of ROTMs?
ROTM
aims are to:
-
encourage camaraderie & build team spirit among NHRR members
-
target races so that members both old & new will see familiar faces &
gain encouragement from club mates
-
to enjoy racing with club mates, perhaps some of you developing "friendly"
rivalries
-
give members target events to measure their running progression
-
to win some team trophies!
Who
are the current ROTM champions?
Linda
Aird & Pete Sibbett (Sibbo) raced prolifacally last year to win the much
sought after titles.

In November only one of the 3 races will score a point, so if
you run one race you will score one point. Equally if you run 3 races you will
still only score one point! This is because we don't recommend running 3 races
in 3 weekends. We need you fit & healthy!
