SQUIRRELS SHINE AT ORION

​In the latest round of the Mid Week League North Herts headed to Epping Forest to tackle the ups and downs of the Orion course.  Following issues with the course in Watford, which saw the results cancelled, the Squirrels were keen to get back on track.
 
The team featured 18 ladies and 21 men.  Katie Harbon won the women’s race with the ladies team coming in a respectable 3rd.  Whilst the Men were 4th on the night with Mike Roberts leading the team home in 14th place.  Orion won the men’s event on the night, and fielded an astonishing 70 men running!
 
In the categories our Vet women won at Orion, whilst Vet men were 5th. Overall  the club is 4th after 2 races, with vet men 4th, vet ladies 2nd and overall vets 3rd.
